Terms of Service

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the agreement between Kaajdar and your business for use of the Kaajdar web and mobile apps. By creating an account or using Kaajdar, you accept these Terms on behalf of your business. If you do not agree, please do not use Kaajdar.

1. Agreement and parties

Kaajdar is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND FORM] (“we”, “us”, “Kaajdar”). These Terms are between us and the business you represent (“you”, “your business”). By signing up, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for your business.

2. Your account

Accounts are based on a phone number. As the owner, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You may add staff (managers) and set their initial passwords; you are responsible for the accounts you create and for your staff’s use of the service. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. The service

Kaajdar helps you manage a tailor shop — orders, measurements, payments, staff commission, and billing. The records you keep in Kaajdar are your business’s own bookkeeping. Kaajdar is a tool; it is not an accounting, tax, or legal service, and we do not guarantee that your records satisfy any particular regulatory, tax, or legal requirement. You remain responsible for your own compliance.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Kaajdar is a paid subscription, priced per active shop, billed monthly or yearly.

  • New businesses receive a one-month free trial.
  • Payment is manual, by bank transfer. We do not auto-charge, and we never collect or store card details.
  • After a billing period ends there is a grace period — 7 days for monthly plans, 30 days for yearly — after which, if payment has not been received, the business becomes read-only. Your data is kept, and full access returns when you renew.
  • Billing is based on the highest number of active shops during a period (peak billing): a shop active at any point in a period is billable for that period, so archiving a shop just before renewal does not avoid that period’s charge.
  • An archived shop is read-only and is not counted towards future billing.
  • We do not pro-rate mid-period changes: a shop added during a period is billed from the next renewal.
  • We may change prices with [PRICE-CHANGE NOTICE DAYS] days’ notice.
  • Fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

5. Your customers’ data

You may record information about your own customers in Kaajdar, including their names, phone numbers, measurements, and photos. You confirm that you are permitted to record this information and store it in Kaajdar, and that you will handle your customers’ privacy requests (for example, requests to see, correct, or delete their records). Kaajdar processes these records only to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy (sections 4 and 5).

6. Acceptable use

You agree to use Kaajdar only for lawful purposes. You will not:

  • access accounts or data you are not authorised to;
  • copy, scrape, or resell the service;
  • interfere with or disrupt the service; or
  • upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content in attachments.

We may suspend or limit access if the service is misused.

7. Your data is yours

Your business owns its records. We claim no ownership of your data beyond what we need to operate the service for you. If you would like a copy of your business’s data, contact us and we will provide it on written request.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Kaajdar available and working well, but we provide it on a reasonable-efforts basis and do not promise a specific uptime or service level. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may carry out maintenance that makes the service temporarily unavailable.

9. Ending your use of Kaajdar

You can stop using Kaajdar at any time — by not renewing your subscription (the business becomes read-only, as above) or by deleting your owner account (the retention terms in our Privacy Policy apply; your business’s records stay intact and can be restored by support). We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these Terms, misuse or abuse, or non-payment, with notice where reasonable. On termination we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Kaajdar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent allowed by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost data). You are responsible for your own business decisions and for your relationships with your customers.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Kaajdar harmless from claims, losses, and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service or from your handling of your customers’ information in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute relating to them or to the service will be subject to the courts of [DISPUTE CITY], Pakistan.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will let you know through the app or by other reasonable means; continuing to use Kaajdar after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Questions about these Terms? Contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
